This 11.5 mile loop has it all: flowing single track, technical root & rock formations, and some relentless double track. The race is run counter-clockwise, forcing racers to climb up the double track and the descend on the single track.

The surface of the Lost Valley Trail single track, even in the flowing sections, is extremely rocky, and as such the trail is among the fastest draining trails in the area. However, don’t be fooled, the early Spring date often brings a twist to trail conditions (prepare for the worst, hope for the best) as the Race will be run rain or shine.

New for 2025, the race will start/finish at the Lost Valley Lower Lot Gate, and uses the double track as a connector to the Main Lost Valley Loop. This lengthens each lap to 11.5 miles long, and every lap after completing the Beaver Time Section, participants will follow the double track back to the Start/Finish line to start their next lap.
